I had a BMC out here, Weatherords Ben line, I really liked him.

Mine are foundation stock out of the ben line as well. Im pretty impressed with them so far.

What kind of dogs do you use now downunder? If this should be in another section mule just let me know. :dog;

I run mostly Catahoulas, had a couple BMCs and seen a couple pretty good ones. Also use Pitbulls and Ambulls for catching.

Thats not the style most of the aussies use is it? Finder holders is what ive always thought yall used.

Yes mate, finder holders (luggers) is what most Aussies run. Some of the country I hunt it's just not practical to run finder holders, takes me way too long to get to the dogs a lot of the time.
